Staff

Work with our nonprofit specialists.

Our highly experienced and dedicated staff have near-encyclopedic knowledge about Park City nonprofits and charitable giving. Even better, they love sharing what they know with our community of donors, neighbors and friends.

Katie Wright

Katie joined the Park City Community Foundation team in February 2008 where she started as the Programs Manager and now leads the organization as the Executive Director. Previously, she worked with the U.S. Peace Corps in Morocco focusing on developing a women’s weaving cooperative. She has worked on a welfare-to-work program in Camden, New Jersey. She also has experience working for the Chester County Community Foundation outside of Philadelphia. Katie holds a Masters in Public Administration with a focus on nonprofit management and international development. She lives in Park City with her family where they enjoy skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling.

Ollie Wilder

Ollie joined Park City Community Foundation in June 2015. As Programs Director, he oversees Live PC Give PC, the Community Fund, and other grant programs and community initiatives. Previously, Ollie helped the PopTech Institute create and manage fellows programs for social innovators and scientists, and worked on the startup phase of Conservation Media Group. Following a stint in Senegal with the Peace Corps, Ollie directed programs for Save the Children in Mali and Burkina Faso. He has managed philanthropic programs for the Institute for Global Ethics and served as president and CEO of the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Ollie fell in love with community foundations during his eight years of service on a volunteer grant making committee for the Maine Community Foundation. He lives, skis and hikes in Park City with his family.

Lori Kun

Lori is thrilled to serve and savor Park City by joining Park City Community Foundation as Development Director in 2016—a role that helps harness people’s passion with needs that had previously possibly gone unseen.  Her prior experience includes more than a decade directing a range of fundraising initiatives, events and campaigns at Huntsman Cancer Institute and Foundation. As a Midwestern girl from Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana, her first trip out west brought her to the place on the cover of her Rand McNally, Utah, a place she continues to explore. She was drawn out to Utah from Chicago as a manager of sport for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002 and finds it a unique place to make a life and a living.  Lori’s previous roles include managing large events and helping build a college newswire service, always carving out time to mentor youth through writing. A graduate of Indiana University’s School of Journalism, she still loves getting to the heart of the story, especially when it comes to good people doing good things in their community. She is grateful to connect with supporters and caretakers of this great community to make an aggregate impact where she also gets to play, explore, and grow with her two kids and husband.

Maikella Clark

Maikella joined the Park City Community Foundation in September of 2014 as the Finance and Donor Service Coordinator. Her work experience includes finance for local government, fundraising, working in the alumni office of a Vermont ski racing academy, national ski team development and management, and credential management for large events such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Maikella considers Park City the most wonderful place to adventure with her young family and feels very fortunate to live somewhere that offers recreational and educational opportunities.

Diego Zegarra

Ever since Diego was a little boy in Peru, he dreamt of working for a community foundation in a small ski town in the Intermountain West. His dream came to fruition in August of 2016 when he joined the team at the Park City Community Foundation! Having landed in town in 2009 after graduating from the University of Utah, he has worked in education programs and collaborated with a myriad of local nonprofits. He continues to work on a volunteer basis to advance the status of low-income families and connect them with diverse opportunities in town. In his spare time, our Administration & Events Coordinator enjoys tennis and soccer.

Sarah MacCarthy

Sarah joined the Park City Community Foundation in 2017 as our Outreach Coordinator. She is excited about working with The Solomon Fund to connect Latino and low-income families to sports and recreation opportunities in the Park City community. Her work experience includes education, non-profit work and sports management. Sarah grew up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and has always enjoyed being active and involved in sports. While growing up in the Rocky Mountains she learned to love skiing, soccer, biking and anything outdoors. She moved to Salt Lake City in 2006 to join the University of Utah Ski Team. Since graduating she has lived in Mexico and Colombia where she acquired a master’s in Applied Linguistics of Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. In addition to working at Park City Community Foundation, she currently teaches Spanish at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.
