Work with our nonprofit specialists.

Our highly experienced and dedicated staff have near-encyclopedic knowledge about Park City nonprofits and charitable giving. Even better, they love sharing what they know with our community of donors, neighbors and friends.

Katie Wright — Executive Director

Katie joined the Park City Community Foundation team in February 2008 where she started as the Programs Manager and now leads the organization as the Executive Director. Previously, she worked with the U.S. Peace Corps in Morocco focusing on developing a women’s weaving cooperative. She has worked on a welfare-to-work program in Camden, New Jersey. She also has experience working for the Chester County Community Foundation outside of Philadelphia. Katie holds a Masters in Public Administration with a focus on nonprofit management and international development. She lives in Park City with her family where they enjoy skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling.

Ollie Wilder — Community Impact Director

Ollie joined Park City Community Foundation in 2015, and oversees Live PC Give PC, the Community Fund, and other grant programs and community initiatives. Previously, Ollie helped the PopTech Institute create and manage fellows programs for social innovators and scientists, and worked on the startup phase of Conservation Media Group. Following a stint in Senegal with the Peace Corps, Ollie directed programs for Save the Children in Mali and Burkina Faso. He has managed philanthropic programs for the Institute for Global Ethics and served as president and CEO of the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Ollie fell in love with community foundations during his eight years of service on a volunteer grant making committee for the Maine Community Foundation. He lives, skis and hikes in Park City with his family.

Lori Kun — Philanthropy Director

A Chicago native, Lori joined Park City Community Foundation as Philanthropy Director in 2016, harnessing her development and communications background to help people answer the most urgent question: “what are we doing to take care of one another?”  Her prior experience includes 13 years directing a range of fundraising initiatives, events and campaigns at Huntsman Cancer Institute and Foundation. She was drawn to Utah from the Midwest as a manager of sport for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002. A graduate of Indiana University’s School of Journalism, Lori still loves getting to the heart of the story, especially in Park City, with so many smart, engaged problem-solvers doing good things in this community, a place where she chooses to make her life with her husband and two kids.

Maikella Clark — Finance and Donor Services Manager

Maikella joined the Park City Community Foundation in September of 2014. Her work experience includes finance for local government, fundraising, working in the alumni office of a Vermont ski racing academy, national ski team development and management, and credential management for large events such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games. Maikella considers Park City the most wonderful place to adventure with her young family and feels very fortunate to live somewhere that offers recreational and educational opportunities.

Diego Zegarra — Development and Special Projects Manager

Ever since Diego was a little boy in Peru, he dreamt of working for a community foundation in a small ski town in the Intermountain West. His dream came to fruition in August of 2016 when he joined the team at Park City Community Foundation! Having landed in town in 2009 after graduating from the University of Utah, he has worked in education programs and collaborated with a myriad of local nonprofits. He continues to work on a volunteer basis to advance the status of low-income families and connect them with diverse opportunities in town. In his spare time, our Development and Special Projects Manager enjoys tennis and soccer.

Sarah MacCarthy — Bilingual Outreach Coordinator

Sarah joined Park City Community Foundation in 2017. She is excited about working with The Solomon Fund to connect Latino and low-income families to sports and recreation opportunities in the Park City community. Her work experience includes education, non-profit work and sports management. Sarah grew up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and has always enjoyed being active and involved in sports. While growing up in the Rocky Mountains she learned to love skiing, soccer, biking and anything outdoors. She moved to Salt Lake City in 2006 to join the University of Utah Ski Team. Since graduating she has lived in Mexico and Colombia where she acquired a master’s in Applied Linguistics of Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. In addition to working at Park City Community Foundation, she currently teaches Spanish at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.

Deanna Rhodes — Events Coordinator

Deanna joined Park City Community Foundation in 2017. Deanna finesses Park City’s Community Foundation’s experiences as Event Manager. Originally from Indiana, Deanna moved to Park City from Washington DC in November of 2015 and is in love with the area. She is a natural ambassador and brings over ten years of event planning, promotional and management experience to the team. She looks forward to building relationships and working with a variety of organizations. She is inspired by the opportunity to grow with enthusiastic, inspirational, intelligent partners.

Sam Mueller — Office Administrator

Sam joined Park City Community Foundation in 2017. Originally from Michigan, Sam relocated to Park City in 2011 with the plan to be a ‘ski bum’ for a season or two. She worked as a ski and snowboard instructor for a few winter seasons before finding the luxury hotel industry, working at both Montage and Stein Eriksen Lodge. Her first winter season in Park City and the following summer cemented her love of the mountains, the town, and the people of this community.  In pursuit of doing something with more long-term purpose, Sam has joined the Park City Community Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys everything the Park City area has to offer, including mountain biking, rock climbing and hiking with her husband and pup in the summer, and skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter.
