Crest Speaker Series: Climate Discussion with Dr. Rob Davies

Join Park City Community Foundation for an engaging discussion about climate change and the impact it has here in Park City. You won’t want to miss this special event with Dr. Rob Davies, a passionate physicist from Utah State University who spoke last fall at the Mountain Towns 2030 Net Zero Summit hosted in Park City.

WHERE: A private residence near Old Ranch Road, Park City, UT. 
Dr. Robert Davies is a physicist whose work focuses on global change, complexity, human vibrancy, and critical science communication. His work for more than a decade has been in critical science communication, principally focused on global environmental change and sustainable human systems. Rob has delivered hundreds of public lectures ― to policymakers, business leaders, civic organizations, and faith communities ― and his “performance science” theatrical collaboration The Crossroads Project | Rising Tide has been performed across the U.S. and abroad. He has served as a scientific liaison for NASA on the International Space Station Project, as a project scientist with Utah State University’s Space Dynamics Laboratory, and as an officer and meteorologist in the United States Air Force. Originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, Rob is currently Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Utah State University’s Department of Physics, in Logan.
