Joelle Kanshepolsky

Interim CEO

Joelle joined Park City Community Foundation as the Interim CEO in July of 2021. Originally from Wisconsin and a first-generation American, Joelle has spent 25 years working in and for nonprofits. As a consultant with Pathway Associates, she has served as Interim National Director of Philanthropy at Conservation Legacy, Interim Development Director at The Refuge Utah, and Interim CEO at The Children’s Center. Joelle also served as Executive Director of Local First Utah and prior to that was Vice President of Development and Communications at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Massachusetts and Director of Development and Communications at the Greater Worcester Community Foundation. Joelle specializes in nonprofit resource development, communications, strategy development, capacity building, governance and board relations, and executive coaching/search/transitions. She has had many clients in the Park City area and Salt Lake Valley, including National Ability Center, Nuzzles & Co, Live Like Sam, The Speedy Foundation, Utah Community Action, and Utah Pride Center, amongst others. She currently serves as Vice President of the Board for Women of the World, on the Board of The McGillis School, and formerly as the Vice President of the Board of Jewish Family Service of Utah. Joelle has a Master Degree from the Heller School of Management at Brandeis University and a bachelor degree from Tufts University. She lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, two children, and their dog; and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, hiking, hip hop and Latin dancing, baking, and reading.
