José Chacón

Outreach & Impact Coordinator

José joined the Park City Community Foundation in July 2020. He is thrilled to work with the Solomon Fund and to create greater inclusion of the Latinx community in sports and recreation opportunities. Having grown up in Salt Lake City, Utah, José graduated from the University of Utah with a double major in Political Science and Latin American Studies. As a dedicated community advocate with an interest in engagement and event planning, he has worked with various organizations across the valley, including Planned Parenthood, KRCL, SLUG Magazine, Artes de Mexico en Utah, and GEAR UP at East High School. In 2018, he studied at the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico and in 2020 worked with the Ministry of Culture of Mexico City as a large-scale event assistant. In his free time, Jose enjoys music production, live concerts, programming, and traveling.
