Park City Community Foundation staff Diego Zegarra (VP of Equity & Impact) and Sarah MacCarthy (Senior Director of Equity and Impact) will lead the fourth iteration of Park City’s Equity Advancement Cohort. Fifteen local organizations (up to 35 individuals) will be able to learn how to advance equity & inclusion in their organizations.
A two-and-a-half-day training (May 15-17) led by the Center for Equity & Inclusion staff, including Hanif Fazal (author of Another World), will kick off this six-month-long opportunity. You won’t want to miss it! In those six months, we will meet five additional times to learn about best practices for our community, discuss common challenges faced, review case studies, and share our own journeys. Participants will examine and understand tools to apply further diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts within their organizations.
Please coordinate with your organization as we ideally require two representatives (two staff members or one staff member and one board member) from each organization – as it can be challenging to task only one person to advance this conversation. Questions? Please reach out to Diego Zegarra or Sarah MacCarthy.
