As a tight-knit community rooted in our natural environment, we believe in caring for the health and well-being of one another and the place we call home. And yet, there are still many in our community who are not able to enjoy all that Park City has to offer.
Since our inception in 2007, Park City Community Foundation has brought over $82 million to greater Park City. We build community belonging to advance a thriving workforce and sustainable future in Park City and Summit County.

Core Activities
Thought Leadership: We bring people together to address key needs and opportunities by providing vision, inspiration, and leadership to strengthen the community. That often includes donors, nonprofits, government, and businesses who want to solve a critical priority
Philanthropic Services: Our expert advisory services enable donors to establish their own charitable funds and contribute a variety of assets to them, so they can support the issues and organizations they love.
Grantmaking: We offer nonprofits funding for a variety of issues, and prioritize funding for critical issues in our community like housing and mental wellness.
Convening: We are the community’s convener: We gather the community around major issues and opportunities that go beyond what any specific organization can do alone.
Nonprofit Education: As an educator, we nourish and fortify the local community with exceptional opportunities for networking, collaborating, professional development, equity and leadership cohorts, and improving their organizations’ effectiveness.

What is a Community Foundation?
Community foundations like ours exist to make it easy for people to give back, to help address challenging issues, to support the nonprofits that are tackling those issues, and to build endowments to help meet changing needs over time.
