Urgent & Emergent Issues
Tracking and tackling the issues with community-focused solutions.
Park City Community Foundation is a partner for tackling urgent and emergent issues and for bringing bold ideas to life. By constantly identifying needs that are not being addressed, we have a keen understanding of our community's most pressing issues.
Crisis Response
The Community Foundation is here when a crisis happens. We raised and distributed $3.8 million during Covid-19, and are prepared to activate our crisis response fund in the event of a local emergency.
Community Belonging
We promote community belonging and kindness to help address hate and bigotry, and this work is embedded in all that we do. In 2025, we launched our Community Belonging Fund to support local families and neighbors facing urgent needs due to immigration-related concerns.
Mental Wellness
We were a key player in starting our local Mental Wellness Alliance, and we continue to support mental health by partnering with other foundations, nonprofits, and government to increase access to services, especially for under-resourced residents.
Find local resources by visiting the Summit County Mental Wellness Alliance’s website.
Affordable Housing
We believe that access to affordable and attainable housing is one of the biggest issues in our area. Our hope is that Park City and Summit County can continue to be a place where people from diverse backgrounds and income levels can live.
