Women’s Giving Fund members, we need you to make your voice heard!
We’re asking local government to invest in our local early care and education system that supports families and is the heart of our community’s economy. Our families, childcare providers, and local economy desperately need our help as they face a looming fiscal cliff. Together, we can be the heroes they need and we’re hoping you all will be advocates.
Early Childhood providers in Summit County are facing a crisis in the coming months, and families are at risk of paying $400 more per month for childcare. We want to help parents avoid the impossible choice between good childcare and their careers, and we want to help childcare providers and local businesses that rely on them.
In 2015, Women’s Giving Fund made its first grant to PC Tots, which was the seed money for PC Tots to start their first center. PC Tots now runs two centers and is considered the premier, affordable, high-quality childcare in Park City. If local government does not step up to fill in the gap, childcare centers in Summit County are facing some very difficult decisions in the near future.
Please join us to learn more about this critical issue in Park City and how you can advocate for the unique and immeasurable value childcare providers bring to our community.
RSVP here, limited in-person capacity. Please indicate if you plan to join in-person or virtually.
