How to Choose Your Live PC Give PC Causes

You are likely among the thousands who are giving critically needed donations to Summit County nonprofits that support our community for Live PC Give PC. Thank you for doing something good and being kind!

Summit County is fortunate to have a robust nonprofit sector supporting just about every issue you can think of. Together, they provide services that positively impact everyone who lives, works, and plays here.

It’s true. There are many nonprofits fundraising this year for the big, annual giving day on November 7. So, how do you choose a cause? It all depends on what you care about.

Do you care about mental health, kids, wildlife, trails, local history, open space, access to sports for everyone, affordable housing, older adults, the Latino community, art, horses, dogs, clean air, the LGBTQ+ community, disabilities, music, or supporting a specific club or team? Focus on what you love and then explore the website. Know that many nonprofits are dealing with financial uncertainty and truly need support.

Fast and easy ways to give:

• Go to livepcgivepc.org and find causes to donate.
• Use the search. At the top of the donate page there is a search bar that is great. If you want to support affordable housing, search on the word “housing.” If you know the organization you want to support, search their name.
• Use the filters. Filters are on the upper left of the donate page. Simply select the Area of Service you want. They include:

    • Environment & Animals
    • Mental & Physical Health
    • People & Community
    • Sports & Recreation

  Want to find organizations that have matching donations? In the Filters section, you can check the “Donations matched” box.

• Previous donor shortcut. If you have given in the past during Live PC Give PC, simply use the Give Again link at the at the top of the donate page, and you can add previously supported causes to your cart and edit them as you like. If you gave last year, you also will receive an email with a special link to your cart. As a repeat donor, your donation will be boosted by $10!
• Just browse. Take a few minutes to discover an organization that is new to you and learn about what they provide. A $5 gift is terrific and increases an organization’s donor count. They win cash prizes when they get lots of donors!
• Love them all? Can’t decide? Consider a donation to Park City Community Foundation’s Community Fund which provides education to all the local nonprofits and directs grants to dozens of them.
