One of the roles of the Early Childhood Alliance is to connect existing resources in our community that have been created to support families with young children. United Way of Northern Utah’s Welcome Baby program provides free home visitation and education for new moms and their babies, with the goal of Pre-K and Kindergarten readiness. Learn more about the Welcome Baby program by visiting the United Way website and watching the video below.
Through the Parents as Teacher program, Holy Cross Ministries provides early childhood education and support for children ages 0 to 3 and their parents. Families receive two home visits per month and services are offered at no cost to the parents, with the goal of preparing parents to be their child’s first and most influential teacher.
