In alignment with its core values of inclusivity and respect, Park City School District (PCSD) has launched the “We All Belong Kindness Awards” in partnership with Park City Community Foundation and the Park City Education Foundation.
The “We All Belong Kindness Awards” demonstrate shared commitment to fostering positivity in our schools and community. The initiative aims to celebrate our students’ and educators’ kindness and leadership in creating an environment free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
Park City Community Foundation is contributing $17,500 for the awards which will be given to students and teachers selected by each of the seven PCSD schools from February to May 2025. Park City Education Foundation will allocate the funds. There will be monthly winners and grand prizes at the end of the school year.
“Leadership often comes unexpectedly, and this award celebrates that,” said Caleb Fine, Interim Superintendent. “We look forward to the stories of kindness these efforts will inspire. Each small step has a big impact.”
“My hope is that these awards create a ripple effect, where the values of kindness and inclusivity are not just taught, but are lived and experienced across our community, shaping a more compassionate future for all,” said Joel Zarrow, President and CEO of Park City Community Foundation.
“As an organization deeply committed to equity and inclusion, supporting this award was a natural fit. It’s crucial for us to foster an environment where every student not only feels included, but valued,” said Ingrid Whitley, Executive Director of Park City Education Foundation.
