Charles DeCoster joins Park City Community Foundation as Vice President of Finance, bringing more than two decades of experience in strategic finance, capital allocation, and governance across public companies, private organizations, and early-stage ventures. Throughout his career, Charles has partnered with executive teams and boards to align financial architecture with long-term strategy, risk discipline, and sustainable growth. Charles has served in senior finance and investor relations leadership roles within global public companies, supported complex acquisitions and integration efforts, and led capital formation and governance initiatives as a startup CEO. He has also worked in early-stage investment environments, helping guide portfolio strategy and capital deployment. Across these roles, he has developed a strong interest in how disciplined financial systems and thoughtful capital structure enable bold mission execution over time. He is drawn to the unique role community foundations play in stewarding capital for long-term regional impact and believes that clarity, transparency, and governance discipline are foundational to sustaining community trust. Charles lives in Park City with his wife and three children and enjoys skiing, reading, and spending time in the mountains.
