Junior Vieyra is a Park City native. He graduated from Park City High School in 2015 and majored in Global Communications at Utah State University in 2019. During college, he interned at Georgetown University as a Resident Counselor and worked with incoming college students from all over the world. Since then, Junior worked as a Community Outreach Coordinator at Park City High School and loved helping and giving back to the community that helped him. He feels so blessed to have grown up and to live in such a generous community that cares about its people. He is excited to be able to continue to serve his community and to increase access for all students facing barriers to extracurriculars through Youth United. Junior played football in high school and faced many of the same barriers that kids face today. He can’t wait to help minimize the equity gap so that every student can access the activities that they desire. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family. You can often find him playing basketball at City Park in the summer or at PC MARC in the winter.
