The 2025 Nonprofit CEO & ED Peer Forum Kicks Off with 12 Nonprofit Leaders

Park City Community Foundation’s CEO and Executive Director Peer Forum just held its first session with 13 new participants after a successful first year of the forum in 2024.

The Community Foundation has been a champion for local nonprofits for as long as it has been around. It provides grants to many local nonprofits and has offered ongoing education roundtables for any local nonprofit staff or board member for more than ten years. Last year, we started a new professional development experience for a small group of nonprofit executive directors and CEO’s. This eight-session peer forum is one more way to strengthen the spirit of collaboration among those who are leading these nonprofits forward and supporting the community with their services.

“Last year’s CEO and ED Peer Forum was a resounding success, and we’re excited to run it again for a new batch of local leaders,” said Joel Zarrow, the Community Foundation’s President and CEO. “Through this forum we’ve been able to bring together nonprofit leaders from across Summit County to learn from each other and make our community stronger as a whole.”

Each of the eight peer forum sessions will tackle a practical topic that is foundational to running a nonprofit organization and will foster community between experienced nonprofit leaders and newer nonprofit leaders who can provide different perspectives.

This year’s participants are:

  • Maggie AbuHaidar – Wasatch Immigration Project
  • Lora Anthony – Mountain Trails Foundation
  • Diane Bernhardt – Hope Alliance
  • Emmie Gardner – Holy Cross Ministries
  • Jason Glidden – Mountainlands Community Housing Trust
  • Christie Hind – Park City Ski & Snowboard
