Park City Community Foundation is incredibly pleased to announce that Alexis Brown has accepted the role of Vice President of Development. Alexis originally joined the team in 2020 as the Corporate Partnerships & Development Director.
“After an extensive search that attracted over 40 candidates, Alexis proved herself to be the best choice to take us forward,” said Joel Zarrow, President and CEO of Park City Community Foundation. “I’m very excited to work with Alexis as we continue to grow our fundraising goals and capacity so that we can provide more opportunities for our local nonprofits and address our community’s most pressing issues.”
Raised in Park City, Alexis has a deep commitment to the community and the mission of the Community Foundation. In her former role as Corporate Partnerships & Development Director, she worked with local businesses and groups, and other key supporters, to engage them in making a meaningful impact in greater Park City through donations, grants, in-kind contributions, and volunteering for the organization.
“As part of the Development team, Alexis has played a pivotal role in helping us reach and exceed our multi-million-dollar fundraising goals year after year,” said Karen Conway, Park City Community Foundation’s Board Chair. “I’m very pleased to see the Community Foundation nurture and grow such a key team member in her career.”
Alexis started her early career in digital marketing and brand management but transitioned into nonprofit fundraising to apply her skillset to positive change in this community. Prior to Park City Community Foundation, she worked in Development and Volunteer Services at Volunteers of America, Utah and other human services agencies in Salt Lake City. She also serves as a Board Member for Mountainlands Community Housing Trust and for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Utah Chapter.
The Community Foundation will be hiring a new Development staff person to fill the role Alexis is vacating and welcomes initial inquiries from candidates at office@parkcitycf.org.
