Call for Ideas!

Park City Community Foundation’s Solomon Fund is launching an open call for ideas. We’re
asking our community to help us create a more inclusive and integrated community by facilitating access
to sports and recreation for low-income Latino children in Park City.

We recognize that there is not a universal model to address this situation, and would like to put the
question out to the community: “How can we improve access to sports and recreation opportunities
for low-income Latino children?”

We’re looking for nonprofits, businesses, government agencies, individuals, or anyone eager to increase
access to sports and recreation for low-income Latino children to submit their ideas. Idea submissions can
be in the form of a one-page summary or 5-minute video. Deadline for submission is 11:59pm MDT on
July 28, 2017. More information on how to send us your idea can be found at parkcitycf.org/call-for-ideas.

The most promising ideas will have the opportunity to receive funding. Community Foundation staff will
work directly with the proposing group or individual to fund and implement their idea. Grants are likely to
range from $5,000 to $50,000, though other amounts may be considered, depending on the specifics of
the idea.
