Open Nonprofit Roundtable (joint with EDs)

Please join us by computer or phone for our quarterly Open Nonprofit Roundtable, open to anyone working for a nonprofit—including program staff, development staff, and so on—and for this joint session, executive directors are encouraged to attend! Share best practices and connect with your peers. Roundtables are free to attend. Given current health guidelines, this roundtable will be a virtual session. Topic: Based on the great input I received from YOU we will focus on three topic areas. Please come prepared to dive in — it’s a lot for an hour but we will tackle it and then I will send follow-up resources:)
1. Are you taking on new roles as needed during Covid-19? How is that working,be ready to share how you have been managing these opportunities and challenges?
2. If you are a parent with children at home how have you been managing this while working? As school, camp and daycare schedules/options are limited and unknowable at this time, how can we begin to have a discussion about how this impacts your work, work expectations and your organizations as a whole. How will you speak up?How to keep up the virtual team’s morale beyond happy hour? Ideas? Are you feeling trusted and trusting others in this new working environment? If you are not a parent what thoughts are you having?
3. Fundraising lots of questions here… how to shift strategies, should we prospect, help with learning new digital skills, should we do a virtual event and in general is everyone onboard in fundraising?
