The Trisha J. Worthington Community Service Award is an annual award given to an individual who has been generous with their time and talent to charitable and community endeavors. This award recognizes their valuable contributions as an essential part of enhancing the greater Park City community. With the generous support of our donors, Park City Community Foundation will grant $1,000 to a local nonprofit organization of the awardee’s choice.
As the founding Executive Director of Park City Community Foundation, Trisha J. Worthington brought life to the idea of a community foundation in greater Park City, Utah. Trisha shed light on the value of having an organization that enhances philanthropy in all aspects for our community. She exemplifies the behaviors we wish to recognize in the award winners:
- Making a significant difference in their service to the community
- Inspiring others to engage more in community service
- Having an extraordinary commitment to our community
- Performing with excellence in community service activities
The annual Trisha J. Worthington Community Service Award will be granted in September each year, as determined by the Park City Community Foundation Community Fund Grants Committee.
Nominations
Nominations are open in August each year. The awardee is announced at our annual Community Foundation Grants Celebration in September. If you have any questions, please contact Minda Boland at minda@parkcitycf.org.
