Gratitude for Park City Mountain and Vail Resorts EpicPromise

Park City Mountain supported through Vail Resorts EpicPromise is an important sponsor and partner to Park City Community Foundation and many other nonprofit organizations in the area. In 2023 alone they donated a total of $5.7 million to local nonprofits. Their values align with supporting some of the biggest issues and goals in greater Park City. For example, they contributed $675,000 to expanding childcare and preschool in the community and $250,000 in multiyear support to Mountainlands Community Housing Trust for working families’ access to local housing. 

 Park City Mountain has sponsored the Community Foundation for many years with a strong focus on supporting our community-wide giving day, Live PC Give PC, and our social equity work. Now they are funding the newly launched Zero Food Waste Initiative as well.   

They donate lift tickets to our Community Pass Club and host many of the Community Foundation’s events, including the annual Equity Advancement Cohort, our Early Childhood Alliance Happy Hour, and our Women’s Giving Fund Grant Celebration.  

Park City Mountain has shown its commitment to this community, not only through funding, but through the actions of many of their staff who sit on local nonprofit boards and volunteer in the community. Vice President & Chief Operations Officer of Park City Mountain, Deidra Walsh, is a board member of the Community Foundation, as well as many other organizations’ boards in Park City.
