Road-Naming Auction Will Help Pave the Way for Early Care and Education

Auction winner will name a street and make a lasting impact, shaping the future for young children in Summit County

Park City, Utah (October 1, 2024) – Columbus Pacific Development, PC Tots, and Park City Community Foundation’s Early Childhood Alliance are auctioning the opportunity to name a new road located in Silver Creek Estates near the junction of Highway 40 and Interstate 80.

Proceeds from the auction will be evenly split between PC Tots and the Early Childhood Alliance to support access to high-quality early care and education in our community. Early childhood care and education is a critical issue in the community and local organizations, businesses, and government have been pitching in to help ensure that families can afford to access high-quality childcare.

Sue Banerjee, Executive Director of PC Tots, encourages all those interested to place a bid. Banerjee said, “Participating in this auction is more than just a gift. It’s an investment in our future. Imagine a place where every child has an equal opportunity to a quality educational foundation that will prepare them to grow, learn, and succeed. Auction participants have the unique chance to name a street and leave a legacy that will inspire generations to come.”

The auction will be open from October 1 to October 25, 2024. Learn more about this opportunity and place a bid at parkcitycf.org/pavetheway. Final street name selection must comply with applicable road-naming requirements and final approval by Columbus Pacific Development.
