Talisker Club is a longstanding partner of Park City Community Foundation. Aligned with the Community Foundation, Talisker Club cares about supporting local youth, outdoor access, and building an inclusive and sustainable Park City. But most of all, the organization cares about supporting the local workforce.
“It’s important to us that the people who keep this town running feel supported, whether through housing, education, or mental health resources,” said Elizabeth Sprately, the Director of Membership at Talisker Club. “Ultimately, we want to strengthen the human connections that hold this community together.”
Talisker Club includes Tuhaye Golf Course, Empire Pass ski in/ski out club in Deer Valley, Courchevel Bistro on Main Street, and more. Elizabeth said Talisker Club takes pride in being deeply ingrained in the Park City community and thus wants to support the people who live and work here. “When Park City thrives, we all thrive. Being involved means showing up and supporting the people and organizations that keep this place strong,” Elizabeth said.
Elizabeth added that Park City’s nonprofits in general help to fill gaps in critical needs such as childcare, housing, and mental health support, which is essential to supporting the stability of the town’s workforce. “Their support makes a real difference for our employees, their families, and the strength of the community,” she said.
Elizabeth loves building real connections with her team and with members. “That’s what makes the work meaningful to me,” Elizabeth said. “I’m always thinking about how we strengthen relationships and build a culture that members and staff want to be part of for a long time.”
The Talisker Club team is at the heart of everything they do from delivering exceptional service and anticipating needs to building personal connections with each other and members. “Investing in a thriving workforce supports both our team and the Member experience. It’s all connected,” she said.
Elizabeth said the reason Talisker Club chooses to support the Community Foundation is because it’s one of the most impactful organizations in town. “They understand where support is most needed and bring people together to make things happen,” she said. “We partner with them because their work aligns with our values and gives us a meaningful way to support the broader community.”
Talisker Club is an Apex Sponsor of Park City Community Foundation and event host for our organization. Elizabeth notes the events they help sponsor are also educational in nature, which is helpful for their members and staff to better understand the needs of the local community.
Talisker Club plans to remain committed to its community and its staff. “We aim to show up in ways that matter,” she said. “Whether that means supporting organizations doing meaningful work or making sure our team feels valued and heard, the relationships we build with our members, staff, and neighbors are at the center of it all. That’s what drives how we lead, give back, and grow.”
