History: Park City Community Foundation (the Community Foundation) identifies gaps and issues and then works in partnership with the community to address greater Park City’s most pressing needs. The organization brings together local nonprofits, political and business leaders, caring donors, and community members to contribute both financial resources and innovative ideas that affect lasting change. Since its inception in 2007, the Community Foundation has had a cumulative impact of over $49 million through grantmaking, programming, and its annual giving day, Live PC Give PC. With years of philanthropic expertise and deep roots in Park City, the Community Foundation is the philanthropic hub of greater Park City, connecting impactful organizations with the resources to address the most pressing issues in the area.
Location: Park City Community Foundation is based in Summit County, Utah which spans 1,882 square miles and is home to over 40,000 people. Park City is a vibrant mountain town, home to three world-class ski resorts and the Sundance Film Festival, and within easy access to Salt Lake City with its international airport, outstanding arts facilities, and sports teams.
The Position
Park City Community Foundation is seeking a skilled, passionate, collaborative, and fun Vice President of Development to lead the efforts for all development activities at the Community Foundation. They will serve as an organization and community leader who engages donors, community members, and key stakeholders for the benefit of the Park City Community Foundation’s mission. Reporting to the CEO, this role is a key leadership position, engaged in elevating the vision of the Community Foundation and securing resources to further the innovative work of the organization. Driven by a passion for relationships and impact, they will appreciate the intricacies of a complex community foundation and will lead the organization in achieving and exceeding ambitious goals. This position is an integral part of the Community Foundation’s executive team and will be a strategic partner to the CEO in the creation, development, and execution of a comprehensive fundraising and revenue-generating program. Alongside a small but mighty development team of three savvy professionals and a robust Development Committee, they will set the strategy for all fundraising activities. The Vice President of Development will partner and collaborate often with the other talented staff and VPs, especially on projects that intersect with donors, such as donor events, and communications, initiative-related fundraising, and the annual report.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this full-time, exempt position is $100,000-$115,000. Park City Community Foundation provides a wide range of benefits to its employees including a hybrid work environment, self-managed paid time off, paid Family Medical Leave, flextime, 401k, 100% coverage of silver-level health benefits plan, and a generous HSA contribution. Relocation resources may also be provided.
