Park City Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Fund is excited to announce our Grant Committee for 2022. Thanks to all who recently nominated new committee members and a special thank you to Judy Brownstein, Aimee Preston, Kristal Bowman Carter, and Dr. Mairi Leining. They served their term and have moved off the committee. New members this year are Sue Banerjee, Jody Gross, Sydney Thorson, and Lauren Vitulli.
We are pleased to announce this year’s committee is as follows:
This dedicated group consists of women who have been part of Women’s Giving Fund from the start and newer members. It spans ages from the late teens to when we get grey hair. And, very importantly, it includes women of varying backgrounds who are knowledgeable about the issues faced by women and children in need here in Summit County.
Come Spring of 2022, the Grant Committee will be tasked with reviewing all Women’s Giving Fund grant applications, and the difficult decision of choosing three finalists. From there, all Women’s Giving Fund members have the opportunity to vote for the finalist they think should receive the grant.
The timeline of the process is as follows:
If you know of an organization in Summit County doing great work for women and children in the community, please encourage them to apply for a Women’s Giving Fund grant! This year, the selection process has improved and the committee will be making decisions in a shorter time frame.
The Women’s Giving Fund annual grant is a great example of how Park City Community Foundation chooses grantees in a comprehensive and thoughtful way so that our dollars can have the most impact possible.
