Sarah joined Park City Community Foundation in 2017 and has been instrumental in kick-starting many of our initiatives, including the Solomon Fund, Social Equity Initiative, and most recently the RISE Fund. Her specialties include community organizing and convening, measurement and evaluation, and outreach. Sarah grew up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and has always enjoyed being active and spending time outside, especially in the mountains and in the desert. She moved to Salt Lake City in 2006 to join the University of Utah Ski Team. After graduating, she lived in Mexico and Colombia, where she acquired a master’s in Applied Linguistics of Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. More recently, she has been an adjunct Spanish professor at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Sarah’s desire to create a more equitable and inclusive community for all motivates her in her role as Community Impact Director.
