Nominations Are Open for the 2026 Trisha J. Worthington Community Service Award
Each year, Park City Community Foundation sets out to find a community member whose generosity of time and talent has made a lasting mark on charitable and community endeavors. This is the spirit behind the Trisha J. Worthington Community Service Award, the Community Foundation’s annual recognition that honors someone who has made a significant difference through service, inspired others to get more involved, shown extraordinary commitment to greater Park City, and performed with excellence in their community work. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Community Foundation will also grant $1,000 to a local nonprofit of the winner’s choice.
The award is named for Trisha J. Worthington, Park City Community Foundation’s founding Executive Director, who brought the idea of a community foundation to life in greater Park City and shed light on the value of an organization dedicated to enhancing philanthropy across our community. Each year’s honoree reflects the same spirit of dedication and impact that Trisha modeled.
Anyone can submit a nomination. We’re looking for specific examples of how the nominee has made a difference, so take a moment to share what makes them stand out. Nominations must be submitted by August 17, 2026, and the winner will be announced at the Community Foundation’s annual Grants Celebration on Wednesday, September 9 at Deer Valley Resort.
Submit your nomination on our Worthington Award page. Questions can be directed to Minda Boland at minda@parkcitycf.org.
