National Basketball Players Association Foundation Grants $15,000 for Mental Wellness

In honor of the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend, National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) Foundation has granted $15,000 to Park City Community Foundation. This grant will facilitate access to culturally relevant mental wellness services for BIPOC families in Summit County through our Mental Wellness Alliance.

Park City Community Foundation is honored to work with the NBPA Foundation and support communities of color in partnership with Jewish Family Service of Utah. $10,000 of the grant will go to Jewish Family Service’s Affordable Mental Health Counseling Program, and $5,000 will support our Solomon Fund registration events which connect Latinx families with local sports programming and essential services.

For the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend, NBPA Foundation has provided grants totaling $50K to support several Utah-based organizations focused on reducing barriers to entry associated with mental health care. Congratulations to our colleagues at Latino Behavioral Health Services for also receiving a grant. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eG98cvjy
