The Parents and Caregivers Task Force held their first meeting on January 8, 2020 to discuss ways to better support parents and caregivers.
The group reviewed items in the draft strategic plan that related to supporting parents and caregivers and decided that the highest priority items would be (1) to expand the Parents as Teaches program, (2) to improve service coordination, referral, and follow-up, and (3) create more early English-language acquisition programs and services, particularly those that are a multi-generational approach).
The group will meet again on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 1:30 at the Park City Library.
