We are absolutely honored to accept Summit Land Conservancy’s Conservationist of the Year Award! Thanks to all their hard work and stewardship over the years, Summit County remains a beautiful place.
Park City Community Foundation was selected for this award because of our dedication to local land conservation and our many programs that support conservation. Over the years, we have demonstrated concerns about climate change with Save Our Snow in 2008, and more recently in 2019, helped catalyze MT2030 and launched the Park City Climate Fund. We support land conservation directly through our Community Fund grants.
Since 2011, Live PC Give PC, our annual giving day, has raised over $640,000 for local land conservation and introduced over 1,200 new donors to the Summit Land Conservancy alone. In addition, Park City Community Foundation provides various resources including round table discussions and seminars to help the Conservancy and other nonprofits grow more effectively and professionally.
