We recently announced that Park City Community Foundation’s 2023 Solomon Fund grants supported 22 organizations to the tune of $200,010. These 22 organizations are championing equity and diversity by giving Latinx youth the opportunity to participate in sports and recreation programs.
As we move into a new grant cycle, we conclude another, which gives us the opportunity to look back and reflect on the accomplishments of last year. To show the impact that Solomon Fund continues to have, we have published the 2022 Solomon Fund Impact Report.
We are thrilled to report that the Solomon Fund saw tremendous growth and deep impact in 2022. A few highlights from the report are:
- A 41% increase in Latinx registrations across grantee recipients (from 1,384 to 1,955)
- 71% of grantees said that they strongly agree that Park City Community Foundation’s Solomon Fund successfully removes barriers to participation for Latinx students
- In 2022, Solomon Fund grantees provided a total of $758,388 in scholarship funds to ALL kids in Summit County ($184,053 of those coming directly from the Solomon Fund, in the form of grants)
