CVMA, Vail Resorts Epic Promise Foundation and Park City Mountain Donation Will Support Programs to Help the Community Thrive

Park City, UT – May 5, 2026 – Park City Community Foundation, in partnership with CVMA, Vail Resorts Epic Promise Foundation and Park City Mountain, is offering retired Cabriolet cabins for purchase. All proceeds from the sale of Cabriolet cabins directly benefit Park City Community Foundation and its work to build community belonging, support a thriving workforce, and ensure a sustainable future for Park City and Summit County.

“For more than two decades, the Cabriolet has transported guests into the heart of Canyons Village—serving as a defining element of the resort experience,” said Brian Madacsi, President and CEO of CVMA. We’re honored to partner with Park City Community Foundation to give these cabins a second life—one that continues to support the future of our local nonprofits.”

The Cabriolet has long been an icon of the Park City Mountain Canyons Village experience. Now, these unique cabins are coming off the mountain and into the homes, backyards, and creative spaces of the community. The open-air cabins are sold as is, but can be transformed into a backyard gathering spot, sculpture, DJ booth, or decorative feature.

Cabins are available for direct purchase, and asking price starts at $10,000, with only a limited number of cabins available. In partnership with Arts Council of Park City & Summit County, there will also be an opportunity to collaborate with a local artist and leave your legacy on permanent display at Canyons Village. Artists interested in participating should contact Arts Council of Park City & Summit County.

A silent auction for a limited number of Cabriolets will also happen in mid-June. Direct sales and the silent auction will close at the Community Foundation’s annual Summer Solstice party on Thursday, June 18.

“We know the Cabriolet has been more than just a lift in our community. It has been a symbol that marked the start and end of countless days filled with adventure, fun, and memorable connections at Canyons Village,” said Deirdra Walsh, VP and COO of Park City Mountain. “While this chapter is coming to a close, we are incredibly proud that these cabins will continue to give back by supporting local nonprofits and helping strengthen the community they have long been part of.”

All the proceeds from the sale of the cabins will go to Park City Community Foundation, which will use the funds to support local nonprofit organizations by providing grants and professional development opportunities.

Thank you to CVMA, Vail Resorts Epic Promise Foundation and Park City Mountain for their unwavering support of the local community and sponsorship of this project.
