2020 Grantee ($50,000) Mountain Towns 2030 (MT2030) to accelerate progress toward a carbon-neutral 2030 by implementing full-time oversight for impactful climate solutions specific to Park City and help translate the results into easily digestible information for other mountain towns. MT2030 now has dedicated leadership through the hiring of Chris Steinkamp who is driving the Climate Solutions Project.

Prior to Steinkamp’s dedicated involvement, MT2030, a fiscal sponsorship of Park City Community Foundation, was launched and managed by part-time climate strategists and donors. Inspired by The Drawdown, the Climate Solutions Project will be an easily digestible collection of tried-and-true community undertakings for reducing carbon emissions to net-zero by the year 2030. The Project will be revealed at the 2022 Net Zero Summit.
