Park City and Summit County’s Annual Giving Day, Live PC Give PC, Is Announced for 2022

Park City Community Foundation Aims to Raise Millions for Local Nonprofits on November 4

Summit County, Utah (August 4, 2022) – The countdown is on for the twelfth annual Live PC Give PC on Friday, November 4. The 24-hour day of giving hosted by Park City Community Foundation aims to engage over 6,500 unique donors to support more than 100 local nonprofits and to highlight the power of giving in our community. People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to get involved in this community-wide giving day. The event is online and will also include an in-person celebration and other activities for the entire community to take part.

“At Park City Community Foundation, our mission is to be an advocate and a resource for all nonprofits in Park City and Summit County,” said Board of Directors member and Live PC Give PC Task Force Co-Chair, Brandi Connolly. “Twelve years of the community coming together with generous donations is a big milestone—since 2011, nearly $21 million has been raised for Park City’s nonprofits on Live PC Give PC.”

Live PC Give PC is a key fundraiser for nonprofits and brings them the resources they need to serve thousands of Park City and Summit County residents. Last year alone, Live PC Give PC boldly raised over $4.4 million from more than 6,200 donors supporting their favorite nonprofits. Whether it’s the arts, education, health care, animal welfare, environmental efforts, or supporting cultural and recreational programs, the local nonprofit community benefits everyone who lives, works, plays, or stays in the area.

“Live PC Give PC has become a de facto holiday for many residents and it’s truly amazing to see the generosity of our community in 24 hours of action,” said Meg Steele, Co-Chair of the Live PC Give PC Task Force and IT Analyst at Park City Mountain. “This day belongs to all the nonprofits and our hope is that those organizations will come out in force to have some fun and engage the entire community in giving.”

Live PC Give PC is proudly supported by many generous sponsors listed at livepcgivepc.org. Vail Resorts EpicPromise and Park City Mountain are the presenting sponsors, and sponsorship opportunities are available through Oct. 1
