Park City Community Foundation Launches New Resource Van to Bring Vital Services Directly to Summit County Families

Resource Van

New program partners with local nonprofits to provide free healthcare and social services, as well as access to local resources that help community members thrive.

Park City, UT – June 17, 2026 – Park City Community Foundation has today launched a new resource van to bring trusted nonprofit services directly to neighborhoods and community centers across Summit County. The van, which will be unveiled at the Community Foundation’s annual Summer Solstice Family Celebration on June 18, marks an evolution of the organization’s role to help solve local challenges and create positive impact in partnership with area nonprofits.

The van will operate as a scheduled, bilingual outreach resource where local nonprofit partners can offer services such as health screenings, mental wellness support, enrollment assistance, early childhood resources, and youth program sign-ups. The services will be offered free of charge to anyone who lives in Summit County. The van will make it easier for individuals and families who might have a difficult time getting to a service provider’s physical location to access resources and services. The Community Foundation will manage the van while nonprofit partners focus entirely on serving families.

“For so many families in our community, the barrier to accessing services isn’t a lack of need, it’s transportation, work schedules, and trust,” said Joel Zarrow, President and CEO at Park City Community Foundation. “Our goals are to expand access to critical services for our entire community, and to increase the service delivery of nonprofit partners.”

The van is being launched as a focused pilot, with the intention of learning, adapting, and scaling based on demonstrated community demand. During the first phase, Park City Community Foundation will be partnering with People’s Health Clinic, Holy Cross Ministries, and Summit County Health Department. The model draws inspiration from similar mobile outreach programs in comparable mountain communities like Eagle County, Colorado.

“The resource van is about meeting people where they already are. We’re showing up in their neighborhood, alongside our trusted nonprofit partners, removing barriers where we can,” said José Chacón, Community Engagement Manager at Park City Community Foundation. “I’m excited about building upon the relationships we already have with many families through our other initiatives such as Youth United. The van is a natural next step, bringing that same warmth and consistency into additional resources our community needs every day.”

The resource van will deploy two to four days per week across Summit County throughout the summer and fall, beginning in July. People can find out more about the van and where it will be at https://parkcitycf.org/van.
