On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Park City School District, in partnership with the Park City Community Foundation, recognized the inaugural We All Belong Kindness Award grand prize winners: two students and two staff members who go above and beyond to make our schools more inclusive, welcoming, and kind.
Each student received a $500 award, and each staff member was honored with $1,250 in recognition of their outstanding contributions.
This was a celebration of four extraordinary individuals during surprise campus visits as part of the We All Belong Kindness Awards.
Launched this school year to spotlight students and staff who go above and beyond to create a culture of kindness and belonging, the program received nominations from across all seven PCSD schools. There were monthly awards given to students at each school and the grand prize winners today received cash awards at the end of the school year. After reviewing the nominations for the grand prize winners, the selection committee was unable to select just one winner in each category, so two staff members and two students were honored with this year’s Grand Prize awards.
“As a district, we believe this is more than an award, it’s a reminder of who we are and who we strive to be. It celebrates those who break barriers, build belonging, and champion a culture where everyone belongs,” said Lyndsay Huntsman, Superintendent of Park City School District.
“We believe these awards have had a positive impact this school year allowing the values of kindness and inclusivity to not just be taught, but to be lived and experienced across our community, shaping a more compassionate future for all our local kids,” said Joel Zarrow, President and CEO of Park City Community Foundation.
